APRIL 9-12

THUNDER REVIVAL, 7 p.m. at Pleasant Oak Baptist Church. Ministers will be the Rev. Kaye Vanlandingham, the Rev. Janice Brodie, the Rev. Vernell Netteberg and the Rev. Irma T. Watson.

APRIL 13

ANNUAL SING-OUT, 2 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Special guest will be The Traveling Choir of Kenbridge. Everyone is welcome.

GOSPEL CONCERT BENEFIT, 7 p.m. at Victoria Nazarene Church featuring “Last Chance.” There will be solos, duets and instrumentals from the church and the community. A love offering will be received to help Pastor Jernigan’s husband Ben with medical needs since diagnosed with cancer. Come out to be blessed and to be a blessing.

APRIL 14

PSALM SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE, 11 a.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 2104 Jonesboro Road, Kenbridge. The Rev. Darrel K. Jones, Pastor Elect.

MISSIONARY WORSHIP SERVICE, 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 821 Lunenburg Ave., Victoria. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Sharon Baskerville.

CHURCH QUILT VIEWING, 2-5 p.m. at VENUE 89, 11944 Courthouse Road, Victoria. The quilt was made by The Ladies Aid Society in 1909 as a fundraising project. People would pay a dime to have their name embroidered on the quilt. A must see. Everyone welcome.

104TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. Star Light Baptist Church. The Rev. John Philips and The Oak Grove Baptist Church of Dinwiddie will be the guest. Everyone is welcome.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY, 3 p.m. at Saint Matthew’s Baptist Church. Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall. Everyone is welcome.

MOVIE NIGHT, 6 p.m. at Victoria Nazarene Church. Film showing will be “The Jesus Film.” Bring a snack to share.

SENIOR CITIZENS LUNCHEON, 11 a.m. at Victoria Nazarene Church fellowship hall for seniors age 55 and older. First come, first serve, no takeout plates. Call (434) 696-2592 with questions.

APRIL 20

13TH ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT, 10 a.m. at Victoria Railroad Park sponsored by the Town of Victoria and the Classy Diva’s Social Club. The egg hunt will consist of two age groups, newborn – five and six – 12. Bring your basket. The Easter bunny will be on-site and available for pictures.

SPRING CONCERT, 7:30 p.m. of The Chorale and Longwood University’s Chamber Singers and Camerata Singers, under the direction of Dr. Pamela McDermott, Director of Choral Activities at Longwood at Jarman Auditorium, 201 High St., Farmville, on the Longwood campus.

INTERACTIVE SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM, 6-7:30 p.m. at Central Middle School cafeteria, 250 Statesmen Dr., Charlotte Courthouse. Learn what may be hidden in your teen’s bedroom and take a closer look at drug trends, youth behavior and how to start a conversation with your teen. Free pizza will be served. Adults 18 and older. Sponsored by PAPSA (Piedmont Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse).
