Kavs place 2nd in VCC

Kenston Forest School’s varsity golf team finished just two strokes behind Banner Christian School on Monday to place second in the 2019 Virginia Colonial Conference (VCC) Golf Championship held at The Cardinal Golf Club in Fort Lee.
During the 18-hole event, Banner Christian ended up with a team score of 384 to clinch the title. The Kavaliers had a team score of 386, Brunswick Academy produced a 399 score, and Southampton Academy and Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Catholic School tied for fourth with 444 apiece.
For Kenston Forest, there were two individual accolades. Tyler Borum, of Blackstone, made the all-conference team, and Sam Hodges, of Kenbridge, made the all-academic squad.
