The National Weather Service (NWS) in Wakefield is forecasting potential localized flooding and strong thunderstorms for Sunday evening for Lunenburg County.

“Locally heavy rain could lead to localized flooding, particularly in urban areas, this afternoon and tonight. In addition, isolated strong thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening,” the NWS alert cited.
