The Lunenburg County Electoral Board partnered with Voters Registration Reenactment Committee (VRCC) to register any eligible Central High School student turning 18 prior to Nov. 5. After the student completed the “voter registration” they had an opportunity to mark a “sample ballot.” The sample ballot had them vote for their favorite car, favorite musical artist, and a resolution to pass merit raises twice a year. After the student voted they proceeded to the ballot box and submitted their paper ballot. The pictured student, Aaliyah Alexander, was the last to register and vote, and she was able to witness the secretary of the Electoral Board running the tally tape of all the votes.
