Doris Huff Thompson, 76, of Kenbridge, Va. passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife and is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edward Thompson: devoted mother to two sons, Dale Thompson (Connie) and Danny Thompson (Lanna); two loving granddaughters, Brandi Watson (Dustin) and Brooke Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Brendan and Gage; her brother, Roy Huff (Rachel); and sisters, Katie Snead, Janet Hamby (Hugh), Ann DeShazo, Mildred Snowa and Debra Sitler (Ralph). Doris was retired from the Facility Engineers at Fort Pickett. She was a faithful member of Kenbridge Baptist Church. She will be remembered by her warm smile and her beautiful laughter.

Graveside funeral services were held Sunday, June 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Kenbridge Heights Cemetery with Rev. John Carey officiating.
