The Lunenburg County Youth Baseball League (LCYBL) Minors all-star team has been strong through two games in the 2019 Dixie Youth Baseball Minor League District 5 Tournament in Crewe. Trevon Porter, Caleb Word, and the rest of the LCYBL Minors began their district run with a 20-0 victory over the Crewe-Burkeville All-Stars in four innings Friday. In a fierce battle with the Dinwiddie National all-star team Saturday, the Lunenburg boys came very close to engineering a comeback win but fell narrowly 10-9.
