Blowing in the wind

I love talking about nature and all the beautiful things Jesus creates. I’m looking out of my window at the rain and the trees are blowing in the wind. They are bending but they are not breaking, instead they are straightening themselves up once the pressure is released.

We are just like trees. When trouble comes it can sometimes bend us to the point where it feels like we will break because it strikes us quick and hard. But just as the trees straighten themselves back up, we also can rise back up. We bend, but we don’t break, because Jesus has promised to be with us through the good times and the bad.

Whenever I’m feeling down and discouraged I think of the poem “Footprints” where He carried us when we did not have enough strength to make it on our own. Just imagine when we are going through our worst moments, we are never alone because He is there. When it hurts to even breathe, He is there. When the world seems to have turned its back on us, Jesus is there!

Hallelujah for Your blessings, Your love, Your grace Father. You are a wonder and Your blessing gives us the strength to make it through each and every day.

It has stopped raining and the sun is shining brightly. No matter the storm, eventually the sun will shine again.

Psalm 149:1, “Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and His Praise in the congregation of saints.” Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
