David Clark, of Lunenburg, recently won the Ladies Night 5.49 Index drag race at the Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie County. “In that race itself, I was the No. 1 qualifier, and then I won the race that night,” Clark said. The overall event featured an eight-car field and three rounds. Clark competed in the final against his father, Timmy Clark. The vehicle David Clark drove was a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro.
