According to scientists at Purdue University, it officially takes 364 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. Cows actually moo with a regional accent. The Cookie Monster’s real name is Sid. Weird facts can make us laugh and can even amaze us.

One fact, that is the greatest for our heart, is how God desires to be with us. You see, God doesn’t force us to believe. God doesn’t want robots. Like any relationship, it’s nice to be wanted. We hope for someone who desires to be with us, to love us, to hold us, to talk with us, to long to be in our presence. God wants us to choose Him. Our relationship with God takes effort! The freedom we can have is found by spending time reading His Story (the Bible). The Joy we gain is spent in marveling at His creation. The peace needed is when we talk with Him (prayer) and when we can be still long enough to listen with our hearts.

Fun fact: God loves you more than you can ever imagine. Tim Tebow, NFL quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner and author, tells of Jan. 8, 2009 when fixing to play in the National Championship game for the University of Florida, decided to switch the verse he had worn all season on the blackout under his eyes. All season, Tebow wore Philippians 4:13, but he felt God had placed on his heart to put John 3:16 under his eyes for this championship game. During that game 94 million people Googled what John 3:16 said. Three years later, Jan. 8, 2012, playing against the Steelers in the first round of the playoffs Tebow again wore John 3:16 under his eyes. In a crazy overtime game, the Broncos won and after the game the Public Relations man went to Tebow and gave the following stats: during the game Tebow threw for 316 yards. Yards per rush: 3.16. Yards per completion: 31.6. Total time of possession: 31.06. The games ratings? 31.6. During the game 90 million people Googled John 3:16. What does it say? “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Look up and read John 3:17! Fun fact: God wants you just as you are. Why not surrender your plans for His?
