HOMECOMING/ REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at Saint Matthew’s Baptist Church. Pastor Robinson will deliver the homecoming message. Dinner will be served. Revival services will be held Monday-Friday at 7:30 p.m. Pastor C. L. Hobbs, Mount Bethel Baptist Church, will be the guest messenger each night. Come out and share with us.

REVIVAL, 7:30 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 1197 Burkeville Road, Victoria with the Rev. Jerome Pratty of Zion Baptist Church, Purdy. Prayer and praise service at 7 p.m.

A different choir will perform each night. All are welcome.

HEALTH TALK, 11 a.m.-noon at Benchmark Community Bank, Kenbridge, hosted by Chase City Health & Rehab Center, Chase City. Regardless of age be proactive and take precautions to protect your health. This seminar is free and open to the public.

AUGUST 21-23

REVIVAL, 8 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, 1784 Springfield Road, Meherrin. The sermon will be delivered by a different clergy each night accompanied by its choir and ushers. Prayer and praise service will begin at 7:30 p.m.

AUGUST 24

PRESENTATIONS, 4 p.m. at People’s Community Center, 1021 Tidewater Ave., Victoria. The Lunenburg County NAACP Branch will present “The Colors of the Rainbow” and Mt. Bethel Baptist Church will present “The Glory Train.” Everyone is welcome. Admission is free.

AUGUST 25

PASTOR/CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Mayflower Baptist Church, Kenbridge, for the Rev. Michael Brown Pastor’s and the church. The Rev. Jimmy Dews, pastor of the St. Luke Baptist Church in Brookneal, accompanied by his congregation will conduct the service.

Please come out and share in this grand occasion. Dinner will be served.

Revival will be held Monday-Friday, 7 p.m. nightly with guest the Rev. Samuel F. Trent, pastor of Morison Grove Baptist Church. Prayer and praise will begin at 7 p.m. Music provided by different choirs each night. Everyone welcome.

MONTHLY MEETING, 6:30 p.m. of VFW Post 9954 and the VFW Auxiliary at the post home located on Marshall Avenue, Victoria.
