Franklin Roosevelt Felder was born on September 2, 1944 in Lunenburg County, Virginia to Arthur and Elnor Boger Felder.
He was educated in the public schools of Lunenburg County, Virginia. Early in life, Frank was baptized and joined St. Matthew’s Baptist Church in Kenbridge, Virginia under the leadership of Rev. H. R. Watkins, Sr. He remained a faithful member until the Lord called him home.
He attended and loved church, Sunday school, Bible study and sang in the senior choir for years. Later Frank joined the Deacon Board in which he loved very much.
