When it rains

Rain is so common that we rarely think of it. It’s considered liquid precipitation; water falling from the sky. Raindrops fall to Earth when clouds become saturated, or filled with water droplets. Rain is needed as a source of freshwater, which is essential for the survival of humans, plants and animals. It also fills lakes and rivers, maintaining the lives of living organisms.

The old saying “when it rains it pours” means things are going from bad to worse. I say when it rains — find a way to dance. Rain is a blessing from Jesus that nourishes the earth and at times our souls. For some of us, rain makes us feel wonderful. We enjoy walking barefoot in the rain, standing in the rain, watching the rain from windows, and the sound of rain falling on a tin roof.

My main reason for loving rain is because Jesus is showering us with love. Jesus can wash away our sins and like the soil we will be cleansed.

Ezekiel 1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness roundabout. This was the appearance of the likeness of the Glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

Isaiah 45:8 Drop down, ye Heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it.

Take a walk in the rain and see how refreshing it feels it will brighten your spirit. Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
