FOOD SAFETY FOR HUNTERS, 7-9 p.m. at the Robert and Betty Ragsdale Community Center, 20916 Old School Road, McKinney. This event, sponsored by the Virginia Cooperative Extension will teach food safety concerns when harvesting Whitetail deer. 79TH CHOIR ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Starlight Baptist Church. Appearing will be choirs from Pleasant Oak, First Baptist, Oak Grove, New Galilee, 30 Plus Praise Dancers, Bro. John Robertson and the Hylights of Joy, Gilfield, Unity Baptist and The Voices of Inspiration. All are welcome.
CHOIR ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of the senior choir ministry at New Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Leon Jackson, pastor of the Zion Baptist Church, Farmville, will be the guest preacher. Music provided by the New Galilee Baptist Church Inspirational choir.

TRUNK OR TREAT, 5:30-7 p.m. in Victoria at the Victoria Railroad Park. The event for Kenbridge will held at the same time in the Kenbridge Town Hall parking lot, 511 E. Fifth Ave. Children up to 13 years of age are welcome. Contact town officials in Victoria or Kenbridge if you would like to decorate your trunk or to make a donation for the event.

155TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church, located at 3606 Kenbridge Road, Blackstone. The Rev. Cornelius Ogburn and the Amity Baptist Church of South Hill will be the guest church in charge. Dinner will be served. The public is welcome.

SEMINAR, 6:30 p.m. entitled “Be safe-use O.A.R.S.” (observe/ assess/react/secure) for your home/neighborhood at Kenbridge Town Hall. Event is free to the public.
