OCTOBER 31
TRUNK OR TREAT, 5:30-7 p.m. in Victoria at the Victoria Railroad Park. The event for Kenbridge will held at the same time in the Kenbridge Town Hall parking lot, 511 E. Fifth Ave. Children up to 13 years of age are welcome. Contact town officials in Victoria or Kenbridge if you would like to decorate your trunk or to make a donation for the event.
NOVEMBER 1
FALL FESTIVAL, 1-7 p.m. at Three Rivers Treatment Center, 231 Hickory Road, Kenbridge. Food, games, crafts, prizes and tours. Free and open to the public.
NOVEMBER 2
HARVEST FESTIVAL, 5:30 p.m. at Kenbridge Christian Church in the church fellowship hall, beginning with a meal consisting of pork barbecue, sheep stew, Brunswick stew, and hot dog plates with drink and dessert. An auction of handicrafts, farm produce, and miscellaneous items will follow the meal at approximately 6:30 p.m.
YARD SALE, 8 a.m. sponsored by the Deaconess Ministry of Saint Matthew’s Baptist Church. There will be many low priced items. Sausage biscuits and coffee will be available.
NOVEMBER 3
23RD ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Deaconess Ministry. The Rev. Pam Simmons, pastor of Bethlehem RZUA will be the guest preacher along with her church choir. Everyone is welcome.
IN CONCERT, 3 p.m. at Pleasant Oak Baptist Church will be the Richmond Boys Choir. Dinner will be served between services.
NOVEMBER 6
AARP TO MEET, at Brian’s Steak House banquet room, South Hill of the Twin Lakes chapter #4014. The meeting is held the first Wednesday of each month.

10TH ANNIVERSARY, 4 p.m. of New Beginnings of Chase City at the Robert E. Lee Auditorium located on 191 East Second St.

BUDDY POPPY DISTRIBUTION 8-1 a.m. in the towns of Victoria and Kenbridge sponsored by the VFW Post 9954 Auxiliary.

149TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 11 a.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Guest preacher will be the Rev. Melinda Mays of First Baptist, Lawrenceville.
155TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church, located at 3606 Kenbridge Road, Blackstone. The Rev. Cornelius Ogburn and the Amity Baptist Church of South Hill will be the guest church in charge. Dinner will be served. The public is welcome.
NOVEMBER 12
SEMINAR, 6:30 p.m. entitled “Be safe-use O.A.R.S.” (observe/ assess/react/secure) for your home/neighborhood at Kenbridge Town Hall. Event is free to the public.
