10TH ANNIVERSARY, 4 p.m. of New Beginnings of Chase City at the Robert E. Lee Auditorium located on 191 East Second St.

EPIC WORSHIP SERVICE, 6 p.m. at Victoria Church of the Nazarene, Eighth and Main Street, Victoria. This is a come as you are service in the church fellowship hall with contemporary music and an interactive message in a relaxed atmosphere. Come out and hear a powerful word from God.

BUDDY POPPY DISTRIBUTION 8-1 a.m. in the towns of Victoria and Kenbridge sponsored by the VFW Post 9954 Auxiliary.

NOVEMBER 10

149TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 11 a.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Guest preacher will be the Rev. Melinda Mays of First Baptist, Lawrenceville.

VETERANS DAY SERVICE, 11 a.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church during the regular worship service. Everyone is welcome.

MISSIONARY DAY, 11 a.m. at New Grove Baptist Church hosted by the Missionary Ministry. The Rev. Aileen Moorman will be the guest preacher. Everyone welcome.

155TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church, located at 3606 Kenbridge Road, Blackstone. The Rev. Cornelius Ogburn and the Amity Baptist Church of South Hill will be the guest church in charge. Dinner will be served. The public is welcome.

SERIES OF PLAYS, 3 p.m. at Mayflower Baptist Church entitled “Jesus Heals the Blind Man” and “I Am the Resurrection.” The narrator for the evening will be Deacon Kenneth Shelton. Trustee Kenneth Coles will be participating in both plays as well as Deaconess Ethel Smith, members of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Kenbridge, and Minister Michael Jones, member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, Petersburg along with others. We look forward to everyone coming out to enjoy an evening of spiritual renditions of God’s Word.

CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Guest will be the Rev. Kevin Robinson and the St. Matthews Baptist Church family. Dinner will be served at 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

MOVIE NIGHT, 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall of the Victoria Church of the Nazarene. Movie showing, “To Save a Life.” Bring a snack to share.

NOVEMBER 12

SEMINAR, 6:30 p.m. entitled “Be safe-use O.A.R.S.” (observe/ assess/react/secure) for your home/neighborhood at Kenbridge Town Hall. Event is free to the public.
