Janie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will be missed dearly.

Her seven grandchildren, Jafar Hardy Stone, Gatley Stone, Connerly Stone, Samuel Edmondson, Amelia Grace Ali, Abigail Ali, and Mitchell DiMond. After the passing of her husband, she returned to live where she grew up on her beloved family farm in Kenbridge, Va.
Janie lived and loved a beautiful life living each day to the fullest…“Janie’s Way”. She loved caring for people and being a nurse, which is exemplified in her role for 58 years. Her most recent nurse role was for the children of Lunenburg County Schools where she worked at the time of her passing.
She loved her communities of Kenbridge, Raleigh and El-Bireh. It was her joy to love and support each of the places she called home.
She will be honored and celebrated at Kenbridge United Methodist Church on Saturday November 30, 2019 at 11:00 am.
