Kenston Forest School’s varsity girls volleyball team had key players that helped lead it to the 2019 Virginia Colonial Conference (VCC) regular season and tournament championships denoted by the two trophies seen above, and the key players received recognition from the conference for achievements on and off the court. Pictured above are the Lady Kavaliers who were named to the 2019 all-conference first team. They are, from left, sophomore middle hitter Shelby Gunn, sophomore libero Taylor Maione and junior outside hitter Molly Epperson. Pictured below on left is junior outside hitter Austin Dornak, who was named to the VCC All-Academic Team, and junior setter Mya Mahaney, below on right, was named to the All-VCC Second Team. The Lady Kavs finished the 2019 season with an overall record of 19-8, including an 11-1 mark in the VCC. The one conference team they lost to, Banner Christian School, is the one they ended up defeating in the VCC tournament championship match.
