Home contest winners announced

The home of Jeff Childers and Katina Wilson won first place for the Chamber Home Decoration Contest’s overall and novelty categories.
Clarece Cannaday, of Victoria, received first place in the religious category in the Lunenburg Chamber of Commerce’s Home Decoration Contest.
Jay and Linda Willis of Victoria, received 1st place in the traditional category.

The Lunenburg Chamber of Commerce recently announced the winners of its annual Christmas decorating contest for the home category, which includes inspecting and awarding homes determined to have the best holiday layout.
Judging was held the evening of Thursday, Dec. 12. Homes earned top places in the contest’s religious, traditional and novelty categories.
The home of Jeff Childers and Katina Wilson located at 2536 Grigg Road, Dundas won best overall for the chamber’s homes decoration contest, showcasing jolly ol Saint Nicholas, aka Santa and Christmas at the farm the home was brightly decorated with Christmas trees, wreaths, lights and more.
