At the January brunch and meeting of the Delta Alpha Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Del. Tommy Wright, Jr., spoke to the chapter about his work as a member of the Virginia General Assembly’s Select Committee on School Safety. Del. Wright, a Republican, represents the 61st District in the Virginia House of Delegates, where many of the members of Delta Alpha reside. The Delta Kappa Gamma Society is an international honorary organization of women educators. Chapter members, for the most part, either teach in or reside in Lunenburg or Brunswick counties.
