PROGRAM, to learn more about becoming a census taker will take place at Ripberger Library from 10 a.m.-noon and at Victoria Library from 1-4 p.m.

BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. hosted by the Christian Education Ministry at Friendship Baptist Church, Kenbridge. Shirley Lee will be the guest speaker.

GOSPEL STRING MUSIC AND SINGING, 10 a.m. at Thrift’s Chapel United Methodist Church, corner of Poorhouse Road and Marshalltown Road. Singing by The Poorhouse Boys with Preacher Mike Johnson.

22ND PROM PREVIEW AND SPRING FASHION SHOW, 3 p.m. at Central High School. There will also be an after prom bake sale to raise money for the After Prom. We look forward to seeing you there.

SPECIAL EDUCATION ADVISORY MEETING, 1 p.m. at the School Board Office, 1009 Main St., Kenbridge, in the conference room.

SPRING FLING DANCE, 7 p.m.-midnight hosted by the K-V Lions Club at People’s Community Center, 1021 Tidewater Ave., Victoria. Music by Soul Unbound DJ’s. Food and beverage provided. TASTE OF THE STATES EVENT, 2 p.m. hosted by Mayflower Baptist Church at the Kenbridge-Victoria Fire and Rescue building for an afternoon of fun, fellowship and great food. Sample dishes from the South Carolina low-country, the Mississippi Delta, the Louisiana Bayou, Tex-Mex, and many other samples.
