Walker Chumney recently participated in an art project in his first-grade class at Baker-Butler Elementary School in Charlottesville. His artwork was among those selected by Rob Bell, delegate of the 58th District, to be displayed in Del. Bell’s office at the State Capital. Walker and his parents visited the State Capitol in Richmond and Del. Bell’s office Friday, Feb. 28 to see the display. During the visit, they were greeted by Del. Tommy Wright, Jr of the 61st District and Del. Margaret Bevans Ransome of the 99th District. Walker is the grandson of Tommy and Linda Chumney and the great-grandson of Pete and Maude Atkinson of Lunenburg County.
