Jeramiah Fix, candidate for Victoria Town Council, is a 35-year-old lifelong resident of the Town of Victoria.

He attended Lunenburg County Schools and was a graduate of Central High School in 2002. Jeramiah is a career firefighter with Fort Pickett Fire and EMS. He also works part-time with Biggs Construction Company.

In his free time, Fix enjoys serving his community by acting as a Life Member of Victoria Fire and Rescue. Fix joined Victoria Fire and Rescue at the age of 14, and has been an active member ever since. He is also an active volunteer with organizations such as the Warrior Hunts of Virginia.

Jeramiah is married to Elyssa Fix (Long). They have a 3-year-old son, Layton. Jeramiah and Elyssa are expecting their second child in the fall.

Jeramiah’s goals as a prospective town council member are to bring new ideas to the existing town council team that will help strengthen the town’s infrastructure and activities, support the citizens and their vision for the town, as well as help build a better community for the youth to drive them to one day raise families of their own here.
