Events that have been confirmed as canceled are noted. Please check with the event before assuming the event is still on.

FRIENDSHIP CAFES, sponsored by Piedmont Senior Resources will be closed. Services for home delivered meals and non-emergency transportation program clients will not be interrupted, as these services are essential to most of the older adults’ day-to-day functions.

ALL SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church have been canceled thru April 11.

ALL SERVICES, for Midway Union have been canceled until further notice to protect the members of our congregation.

SERVICE BY RADIO, 11 a.m. hosted by Cameron Bailey pastor of Kenbridge Christian Church on 107.1 FM each Sunday from LGS (Lunenburg Girls Softball field) on Maple Street in Kenbridge. The closer to the ballfield, the better the reception.

MUSIC IN THE PARK/ CRUISE IN, at Victoria Railroad Park has been canceled.

APRIL 19

ANNIVERSARY SERVICE for Pastor Elmus Morgan, Jr., and First Lady, Evangelist Jacqueline Morgan at Friendship Baptist Church has been postponed until a later date.

APRIL 20-24

SPRING CLEAN-UP WEEK, in the Town of Kenbridge. Residents may place trash, brush and other items by the curb. It will be picked up and taken away at no charge. Normally, there is a charge for such services, but during this clean-up period, it’s on the town. Residents are encouraged to work together to make Kenbridge beautiful.

SPRING REVIVAL, at West Hill Baptist Church, Victoria, has been canceled due to the extension of the social distancing policy and banning of gatherings. West Hill will keep everyone in our prayers throughout this pandemic.

APRIL 25

TASTE OF THE STATES EVENT, hosted by Mayflower Baptist Church has been canceled.

MAY 5

TOWN ELECTIONS, 6 a.m.-7 p.m. for the towns of Kenbridge and Victoria.

JUNE 6

TRUCK AND TRACTOR PULL, 6-11 p.m. at Victoria Railroad Park sponsored by Victoria Fire and Rescue.
