Rev. J. Cameron Bailey of Kenbridge Christian Church held drive-in services at the Lunenburg Softball Field on Maple Street in Kenbridge. According to Facebook posts from Bailey, more than 444 people attended the service Easter morning. Two people were baptized as part of the service Sunday morning. Another person was baptized later that afternoon. Here, Bailey baptizes Carlie Parks. Services went on despite the FM transmitter used to deliver the audio to car radios malfunctioning. The group switched to Facebook Live with congregants listening to the message on phones, laptops and other devices. Bailey posted that he expects to have a new, improved FM transmitter by this coming Sunday’s service.
