Town offices in Victoria and Kenbridge are reopening with extra precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Victoria town office and DMV Select opened Friday, May 15 with only four people inside the office at a time including workers. Acrylic shields have been put in place on the counters to provide a barrier between employees and customers.

The Town of Kenbridge plans to reopen its offices Monday. A release from the town said the office would be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Social distancing should be practiced inside the building. Citizens are asked to continue utilizing the drop box or paying town bills by phone or mail whenever possible.

Vicki McDaniel, a clerk for the Town of Victoria, works behind the new shields set up to aid social distancing between employees and customers. The Victoria Town Office reopened Friday.
