Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7819 Commander of Crewe Greg Eanes presented Kenston Forest School (KFS) sophomore, Sadie Henshaw and KFS sixth grader, Jacob Seamans monetary awards. Sadie’s entry in the Voice of Democracy earned first place at the District 4 Level advancing her to the state level competition. Jacob’s entry in the Patriot’s Pen earned third place at the District 4 Level. Sadie is the daughter of Heath and Kristin Henshaw of Sutherland. Jacob is the son of B.J. and Jill Seamans of Drakes Branch. Pictured, from left, are KFS Head of School Lori Bacon, Sadie, Jacob and Eanes.
