Kenston Forest School’s varsity football team holds a 5-2 record as it prepares for its homecoming game showdown with visiting Southampton Academy on Friday at 7 p.m. The Kavaliers did not play last week as they received a win by forfeit versus Hampton Roads Academy. The week prior, the Kavs fell 54-50 in a shootout against host Virginia Episcopal School. Kenston Forest running back Quinton Hawkins and quarterback Moe’Wuante “Moe Moe” Morrison led the charge on offense, scoring multiple times. On defense, Ronique Capers and Thomas Inge led with intensity.
