John Winn “Johnny” Hankley, 68, of Kenbridge, Va. died September 23, 2015. He is survived by his wife Betty Sue Hankley, Sons Jeff Hankley and Scott Hankley (Stephanie); grandchildren, Hannah and Timmy; his sister, Susan H. Ennis (George) of Leonardtown, MD.

  Johnny was an agent for New York Life insurance Company. He served on the Lunenburg County School Board for twenty years and was chairman of the board for eight years. He was a member of the Dundas Ruritan Club, Lunenburg Rotary and was an elder and Sunday School Teacher at Perseverance Christian Church in Dundas, Va. where funeral services were held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with interment in the church cemetery.
