Lunenburg County and the towns of Kenbridge and Victoria want to get some input about the housing needs in the area.

An 18-question survey has been developed. The survey asks residents where they are currently living, are they renting or a home-owner and what they would like to see Lunenburg County focus on in the future to improve the housing situation.

Lunenburg County, Kenbridge and Victoria have received a grant from the Virginia Development Authority to conduct the study to identify housing needs in the community.

The study, conducted by The Berkley Group, is being fully funded by the grant. The results of the study will help develop a plan to market the needs and provide guidance to assist in filling the identified gaps. The study is expected to take several months and is comprised of several different phases.

The survey may be completed online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/LGD6J5Y. Paper copies of the survey are available at county or town offices as well as the branches of the Lunenburg County Public Library System.

Completed copies may be mailed in or dropped off at a town or county office.

The deadline for submitting survey is Saturday, Feb. 15.
