Floyd Gill Queensberry, 79, of Victoria, Virginia died peacefully at his home on March 18th 2016. Born in Meherrin, Virginia to the late Henry Lee and Marion Gill Queensberry. He is survived by his five children, Karen Hopkins (Robert), Kelly Queensberry, Daryl Queensberry (Jackie), Deano Queensberry (Carolyn), Mena Palfreyman, his 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, his five nieces, 9 nephews and his sweetheart of 15 years Mable Gay. Floyd “Queenie” enjoyed striper fishing, riding his pontoon boat on Buggs Island, golf, throwing horseshoes, making music with his mandolin and dancing with Melba.  In other words, Floyd loved being retired. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 2 p.m in the Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge. Interment in the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria.
