Schumaker, Charlie W., Jr., 90, of Victoria, VA graduated from the school of life with many things still unlearned. Born physically 8, Feb. 1926 died, 16th, May 2016. Born spiritually 19th, July 1959 to live forever with the Lord. Survived by his devoted wife and friend of 38 years, Betty T. Schumaker; nine children and their spouses; 57 combined grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Rev. Schumaker was a WWII and Korean War Veteran — having served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Ordained a Baptist minister in April 1965 and served as pastor of five different churches in Virginia, did interim and pulpit supply until his death. Graveside funeral services were conducted Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria.
