Rites held for Anne B. Kunath

Anne B. Kunath, age 84, of Keysville, VA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Kunath, Sr.; one brother, W. H. “Sammy” Bigger; and one sister, Betty Echols. Anne B. is survived by three children, Charles Kunath, Jr., and his wife, Jeanie, Lynda K. Brooks and her husband, Paul, Kerwin Kunath and his wife Beverly; seven granddaughters, Sarah, Emily, and Callie Kunath, Leanne and Kristen Brooks, Lauren and Lindsey Kunath; one brother, David Bigger; one sister, Nancy Childers; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a retired teacher’s assistant from the Lunenburg County Public School System, and a longtime member of Cool Spring Christian Church. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2016, in Cool Spring Christian Church, Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family invited friends to join them for food and fellowship in the church fellowship hall at 12:15 p.m. The family also received friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Cool Spring Christian Church, The Charlotte County Rescue Squad, or The Victoria Fire and Rescue. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
