Rites held for Renard Benjamin White Jr.

Renard Benjamin White Jr. was born March 5, 1997 to Patricia Smith White and Renard B. White, Sr. in Lunenburg County, Virginia.
He was educated in the public schools of Lunenburg County, Virginia and graduated from Central High School in Victoria, Virginia. He also attended SVCC to major in game designing and computer technology. He accepted Christ as his personal savior at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Kenbridge, Virginia and later moved his membership to St. Luke Baptist Church South Hill, Virginia where he was on the Youth Choir, and attended Sunday school. He loved his video games and working on his computer. “I give myself a way to you Lord, and celebrate my arrival into your heavenly home.” Renard Benjamin White Jr. (R.J., Tiger Wood) departed this life on Friday May 20, 2016, at VCU Medical Center Richmond, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Columbus R. Smith, and John White, Sr.; aunts, Christine Hendricks, Sandra Ann Beck, uncles, Ricardo Reese, and Ricky E. Benjamin, Sr.
He is survived by: his mother, Patricia S. White and father, Renard B. White, Sr, two sisters, Mia White, and Tatyana Chavous, two nephews, Khalil White, and Katai White all of Kenbridge, VA, his grandmas, Nannie Lee Smith and Pauline Benjamin White, of Kenbridge, VA, great grandmother, Carrie Benjamin of Victoria, VA, aunts; Elaine Johnson, Mary Sue Tucker, Florence Reed, Linda Young all of Baltimore, MD, Lucy Gray of Richmond, VA, Lena (Eddie) Robinson of Victoria, VA, Nannie (Eddie) Isaac, Shirley Smith, Mae Smith, Joyce Tucker all of Kenbridge, VA, Connie Gregory of South Hill, VA, aunts, Brenda (James) Boswell, Joyce (Thomas) Morrison, Lavoris Jones all of Kenbridge, VA, and Tina (Ade) Benjamin-Adeyemi of Maryland. uncles John Jr, (Leior) White Darryl (June) White, Special cousins, Tatyana Crowder, Lamont Smith, Amanda Smith, Key-Key Jones, India (Pocahontas) Tucker, Chael Smith, Amy (Roderick) Jackson, Rico (Monkey) Reese, Rodney (PapaSmurf) Hill, Kiyanna Hill-Isaac, Jashon Hill-Isaac, special uncles, George Ghee, and David Bruce Beck, Jr.; a host of other great, uncles and aunts, cousins, and friends. He is loved by two good friends, Donnal Coleman and Shirley Coleman of Brunswick County, VA.
The service was held at the People’s Community Center in Victoria. S.P. Jones & Son Funeral were in charge of arrangements.
