Robert C. Ramsey Sr., 74, of Victoria, VA died May 31, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Linda Nelson Ramsey; his daughters, L. Dare Simmons of Victoria and Susan M. Hawkins of Short Pump; two sons, Lt. Col. Robert C. Ramsey, Jr. (Erin) U.S. Army Belize and James Christopher Ramsey (Susan) of Richmond, Va.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his sister Georgie Duncan (Tommy) of Burkeville.

Robert served his country in the United States Navy, was a member of VFW Post 9954, and American Legion Post 147. Robert was also a member of the Victoria Baptist Church where funeral services were held Saturday June 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
