Janice Kay MacDonald

Janice Kay MacDonald, 57, of Victoria Virginia passed away in Erie, Pennsylvania on November 25, 2016. She was born to Eleanor Goodman and Leroy C. Braden in Bangor Maine on August 28, 1959. She attended Edgewood High School and studied at California State University.

Janice worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor and enjoyed spending her time woodworking, sewing, watching hummingbirds, and spending time with her grandchildren. Janice was also a very proud member of AA for over 20 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Christina Elam (James), Dawn Brookbank, and Danyell Brookbank as well as her only son, Nathaniel Brookbank (Caitlin); 10 grandchildren, Candis Joyner, Travis Joyner (Erica), Destiny Elam (Max), Justin Joyner, Alex Elam, Adelina Dimitri, Thomas Lacks, Joseph Lacks, Tessa Brookbank, and Preston Brookbank, as well as many other family, friends and loved ones.

Janice firmly believed that Hummingbirds were God’s presence, so when you see one, believe that God is with you.
