Margie Winston Fitzgerald was born July 20, 1933 to William and Pearl Staten Winston. She received her formal education in the public schools system of Lunenburg County, Virginia.

Margie accepted the Lord as her savior at an early age and became a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church Kenbridge, Virginia where she remained until her death.

Her employment was Levi Strauss garment factory in Blackstone, Virginia and Perdue Packing Corporation in Emporia, Virginia where she retired.

She married Charles H. Fitzgerald and they were blessed with one son. Margie loved her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Pearl Winston, husband Charles H. Fitzgerald and her brother Wendell Winston.

Margie leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted son Charles H. Fitzgerald, two granddaughters, Amanda and Amelia all of Kenbridge, Virginia, other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services were held Feb. 27, 1 p.m. at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, 2993 Brickland Rd., Kenbridge, Virginia with The Rev. Herman Lundy, Pastor, Words of Comfort.

S.P. Jones and Son Funeral Home served the family.
