Roads, schools closed due to flooding

Several roadways in Lunenburg County have been closed or face advisories due to flooding, standing water and trees down, according to a report from the Virginia Department of Transportation Saturday.

The roadway closures include Route 621, located on the Lunenburg County line.

Roads in Lunenburg closed due to flooding, standing water, impassible road conditions and trees down, according to VDOT’s condition table, include:

Route 635, Oral Oaks Road

Route 627, Dobbins Bridge Road

Route 612, Manson Road

Route 607, Afton Grove Road

Route 636, Bridge Road and N. Whittles Mill Road

Route 602, Berry Road

Route 605, S. Hill Road

Route 627, Varick Chapel Road

Route 621, Dix Drive, Dixie Bridge Road

Route 658, Wallace’s Bridge Road
