SFC E7 (R) Jon Dean CoffmanSFC E7 (R) Jon Dean Coffman, 83 of Victoria, joined his wife, the love of his life, Millie Hancock Coffman, in Heaven on Sept. 4. He was the son of the late Dana Coffman and Thelma Augenstein Coffman and brother of the late Jean C. Shank.

He is survived by his daughters, Wendy C. Funderburk (Chuck) and Tracey C. Rowsey (Jerry); grandsons, Chad and Kevin Rowsey, Trey and Troy Funderburk; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Jon graduated from Lowell High School in Lowell, Ohio. He joined the military shortly after high school and while stationed at Fort Pickett met Millie. They celebrated 58 years of marriage before her passing in 2022. He proudly served our country in the Army National Guard and retired from Fort Pickett. He then went on to work for the Town of Victoria at the Water Treatment Plant. He enjoyed fishing, car racing, playing cards, golf, Wednesday nights at the 635 Supper Club and spending time with family and friends. He will always be remembered for his devilish grin and patient demeanor.

Jon was a member of the Victoria Baptist Church, where funeral services were held 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 9. Interment was in Crestview Memorial Park, LaCrosse.
