On Tuesday, April 23, Laura C. Sanford, a native of Kenbridge, concluded her journey on Earth at the age of 104. 

She is survived by her two loving daughters, Jacqueline S. Haskins (the late C. B. Haskins Jr.) and Wanda S. Hill (Sidney) and her precious grandchildren and great grands. 

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 1, at Saint Matthew’s Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m. The services can be viewed on the church website: smbckenbridgeva.org.
